Here goes yet another RIP thread, Dickey Betts, one of the founding members of The Allman Bros, has passed away at age 80 :( A tragic loss, The Allman Bros are true southern rock icons, so many timeless classic songs, of course "Ramblin Man" and "Midnight Rider" are classic rock radio staples, and those are great songs, but I also love "Blue Sky", "Southbound", "Melissa", "One Way Out", and tons others! I love the way they blended rock country and blues, and a slight touch of jazz in some of their songs RIP Dickey Betts, thanks for your great talent, and I know any other Allman Bros member who has passed away, as well as all of the original members of Lynyrd Skynyrd, can't wait to jam with you in Southern Rock Heaven! "Lord I was born a ramblin man, tryin to make a living doing the best I can..."
