EreTina Reading

Tina was sitting behind the tree, reading the 'Ramayana' book. She had just brought that from the bookstore somewhere in Germany.

"Whatcha reading, Tina?"

Tina lift her head up and saw Eren who is standing in front of her. "Oh, namaste (Hello), Eren."

"Huh?" Eren asked, confused which he doesn't understand Tina's language.

"It means 'hello' in Hindi." Tina explains, "My mother taught me to speak Hindi when I was little but I still do."

Eren chuckled, "Oh, right." He clears his throat. "And may I ask what are you reading?"

"Oh that?" Tina said, gesturing to her book, "I'm reading 'Ramayana' which I got that from the bookstore somewhere in the village."

"Eren was confused again, "Ramayana?"

"It's a Sanskrit poem from India by Valmiki. It's about a hero Rama who is on the quest to rescue his wife Sita from the clutches of Ravana with the help of an army of monkeys."

Eren cringed a little, "Dang. I didn't know that."

"I know."

"Let me see that." Eren quickly snatched the book from her hands and began flipping the pages very fast. "Man, how can you read this?"

"I'm not sure yet." Tina sweatdropped nervously, "And anways..." She grabs the book from him. "It's a very epic story as long you had to avoid the part where Lakshmana, Rama's brother, cutting off Shurpanakha's nose."

"Right..." Eren shuddered at this.

"Now, come. Sit with me. We'll read it together."

Eren was concerned, "I don't know, Tina. What if the story was too damn long? Maybe we should-"

"Please, Eren?" Tina pleaded, "For me."

Eren sighs in relief, "Alright. I'll do it." He sat down next to her.

"Great. Let's just the story right into the beginning." Tina opens the book to the first chapter.

"Sounds good to me." Eren shrugged and the two start reading 'Ramayana'.
